Karyn Bigelow is a United Nations trained public policy professional, specializing in advocacy, coalition building, government processes, and organizational culture. Karyn has previously advised Congress and the Senate, and has held executive leadership and board roles in several organizations to strengthen their policy portfolios.  

At GamblinConsults, Karyn specializes in policy development and analysis across a variety of subjects. With expertise leading several policy platforms, campaigns, and national coalitions, Karyn brings a expert knowledge for how our nonprofit and government clients can operationalize the policy and advocacy goals in practical and measurable ways that are inclusive and sustainable. 

Karyn has a wealth of experience leading efforts to transform organizations that reach millions of people in their impact. She leverages this experience to help our clients identify and assess where they currently are and help them develop strategies and plans for how to strengthen their culture, process, and outcomes.

Karyn also provides c-suite and executive coaching to leaders, having led several efforts in organizational transformation that required leadership development and growth in practical, measurable, and attainable ways. 

Karyn has previously received training from the United Nations and a graduate diploma in global food security from University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom; earned a masters from the Pittsburg Theological Seminary; and earned a bachelors in social relations and policy from Michigan State University.
