Marlysa D. Gamblin, MPP, is a Harvard trained, nationally recognized strategist with over 15 years of experience advising local and federal governments, including the White House, Congress, and the Senate.

Marlysa is known for creating over 100 toolkits, tools, and guides to help the clients at GamblinConsults transform the way they do their work and achieve sustsinable outcomes. Marlysa's tools have impacted more than 8 million people across the globe.

Marlysa is also known for her groundbreaking research and ability to bridge strong research design to deliver effective public policy. Her research has been cited by the Yale Law Journal, Georgetown Law Review, Urban Institute, Duke School of Public Policy, and the National Institute of Health. Under her leadership, GamblinConsults has successfully been able to work with research teams across the U.S. to develop stronger research quantitative and qualitative methods, methodologies, analysis, and final recommendations. Cumulatively, through this work, GamblinConsults has helped their clients strengthen their research practices and outcomes to impact over 2 million people. 

Under Marlysa's leadership, GamblinConsults has helped more than 147 U.S. counties and over 2.4 million people benefit from inclusive, evidence-based systems of policy, strategy, research, and legislation. 

Marlysa received her Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and graduated with a Bachelor in Science as a Valedictorian from the University of California, Berkeley.
